What is the "Be the Next Sweet Sensation" Contest?
The NatureSweet® Cherubs® "Be the Next Sweet Sensation" contest is a COOL & EXCITING contest that is kid-safe and friendly, where kids (ages 8-13 years old) can upload, watch, create, and share their UNIQUE NatureSweet® Cherubs® related videos. We are able to ensure such an environment by following the FTC's Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) guidelines, reviewing all uploaded material with the intentions of filtering out all potentially harmful and unsuitable content, monitoring the website's activity, which includes reviewing uploaded video content, and continuing to make the functions and features of the site fun and easy to use.

How Do I Enter the "Be the Next Sweet Sensation" Contest?
It's all very easy! Just follow these steps:

	1.	Have your child (aged 8-13 years old) create a video (approximately between 30 - 60 seconds) showcasing their natural talent – whether it’s singing, dancing, or speaking about the snackability and sweetness of NatureSweet® Cherubs®.
	2.	Visit www.cherubstomatoes.com and click on the “Be the Next Sweet Sensation” contest link.
	3.	Click on the “Enter Contest” link and follow the step-by-step instructions to register your child for the contest. Fill in all the starred ("*") categories. Make sure you've read and agree to the Official Rules.
	4.	Upload your child’s video for entry into the contest.
	5.	Look for a confirmation on screen that you have successfully uploaded your video.

2. USERNAME & PASSWORD

I cannot log in, even though I entered my username and password correctly. What is the problem and what can I do? If you are unable to login with your correct username and password, it may be that your browser does not have cookies enabled.

I am a contestant or the parent or legal guardian of a contestant and I forgot the contestant’s user name. How do I retrieve it? We are unable to retrieve user names, so once you create a user name for your child, please do keep it safe and accessible. However, you can sign up with a new account by using a new and different username.

I am a contestant or the parent or legal guardian of a contestant and I forgot the contestant’s password. How do I retrieve it? Click on "Forgot Password?" link below the Password field. In order to locate an account on our server, we need the contestant’s user name. Regardless of who contacts us, we will always send the retrieved password of the contestant to the parent who activated the user's account.

I registered to vote and I forgot my username for my voter log in. How do I retrieve it? We are unable to retrieve user names, so once you create a user name for your child, please do keep it safe and accessible. However, you can sign up for a new account by using a new and different username.

I registered to vote and I forgot my password for my voter log in. How do I retrieve it? Click on "Forgot Password?" link below the Password field. In order to locate an account on our server, we need the contestant’s user name or the voter’s user name. Regardless of who contacts us, if the user is under 13 years of age, we will send the retrieved password to their parent or legal guardian’s registered email address. If you are over 13 year’s of age we will email you with the password.

For Parents: I never received the Account Activation email. What happened? If you haven't received the Parent Confirmation email yet, check your email client's spam folder—some spam protection programs are more aggressive than others, and the Parent Confirmation email may have been recognized as spam.

If the Parent Confirmation email is not in your spam folder, contact us at help@cherubstomatoes.com with your inquiry. Please provide the username of the account in question.

How do I change my password and/or my other account information? Unfortunately, you cannot change your password or account information for this promotion. You can sign up for a new account with the desired username.

Can I Change My Username?
No, unfortunately, you cannot change your username—there is too much information tied to your account, using your username as reference. However, you can sign up for a new account by using a new and different username.

3. BROWSING & EXPLORING THE SITE

How do I find my uploaded videos?
After you log in and visit the Vote for Videos page, your videos will automatically display at the top of the video list. If you choose to sort by other criteria and you desire to see your videos again, simply click on the My Videos sorting option.

How do I find cool videos to watch?
You can explore other people’s uploaded videos for the NatureSweet® Cherubs® “Be the Next Sweet Sensation” contest by the use of the sort function on the Vote for Videos page. You can sort videos that you are interested in by most recently uploaded, most viewed, or my videos option.

4. RECORDING A VIDEO

How do I make a video?
In order to make a video, the parent or legal guardian of the contestant will need a webcam or other digital camera device that can connect to their PC or Mac. We recommend that all videos be between 15 - 60 seconds. All videos must feature ORIGINAL content and should showcase just the contestant performing their natural talent inspired by NatureSweet® Cherubs®. Sing, dance, juggle, do a stand-up comedy routine – whatever that natural talent is, we want to see it! All performances should try to get people excited about NatureSweet® Cherubs®! Once recorded and uploaded to the parent or legal guardian of the contestant’s computer, the parent/legal guardian can then edit the video(s) using iMovie, Windows Movie Maker, AVID, Final Cut or Adobe Premiere, or other equivalent video editing software. Be sure to read the Official Rules regarding video content.

Do I have to have a camcorder to make videos?
No. As explained in the previous question, there are many different devices that can capture digital video. You may also use a webcam (some computers and laptops come with them), which can be easily used utilizing our "Upload a Video" feature.

How do I use my webcam?
You can use the software that came with the webcam and, once the video has been saved as a file, you can upload it onto cherubstomatoes.com.

TIPS & RULES

	•	Use a popular video file format, such as certain versions of AVI, WMV, MOV, and MP4. Try to use a frame size of 480 x 360, and a frame rate of 25 or 30 frames per second.
	•	You need to own the video or have permission from the owner to upload it. All video content must be kid appropriate (rated G or PG only). Files can be up to 20 MB, and we recommend that it is a minimum of 15 seconds and a maximum of 60 seconds in length.
	•	Feel free to use a video editor to polish up your movie.
	•	Please remember, only the contestant should appear in the video.

5. UPLOADING A VIDEO

Do I have to sign up to upload videos?
Yes. You must be a registered member of NatureSweet® Cherubs® to Upload a Video, though you can watch videos without signing up. Explicit permission of contestant’s parent (or legal guardian) will be required for entry by all individuals.

How do I upload a video?

How large can my video be?
The file-size limit is 20 MB. This usually translates, in time, to a 1-minute video.

Is there a limit to how many videos I can upload?
There is a limit of five (5) videos per child.

What video file formats can I upload?
Use a popular video file format, such as certain versions AVI, WMV, MOV, and MP4. Try to use a frame size of at least 480 x 360, and a frame rate of 25 or 30 frames per second.

What should I name my video?
We recommend that you name your video something specific, something that will generate interest just from reading it, and something that involves NatureSweet® Cherubs®.

How long are my videos available on cherubstomatoes.com?
Videos will stay on the site until June 15, 2009 (approximately).

How do I change or add to the information I entered about my video?
Once you upload a video and it is published on the site, you will not be able to change or add information to your video. So, please be careful when uploading your video.

How do I tell my family and friends that I have a new video?
Click the "Share this Video" button below the playlist.

How do I know who has watched my video?
Cherubstomatoes.com does not offer a way to see the specific viewers of your video.

6. COMMENTING ON VIDEOS

How do I edit or delete a comment I made on someone else's video?
You can't edit or delete comments you make on other people's videos. Once you've made a comment, it can only be removed or moderated by the NatureSweet® Cherubs® team.

How do I remove a comment from one of my videos?
Once someone has made a comment, it can only be removed or moderated by the NatureSweet® Cherubs® team.

How do I comment on a video I'm watching?
First, you must be logged in as a voter. Next, click on the "Add Comment" button below the playlist. There will be a menu containing various pre-selected comments to choose from. You are not required to leave a comment on a video if you do not wish to.

Is there a limit to commenting on videos?
No. Your video or videos you comment on can receive as many comments as someone selects.

7. INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT

How does cherubstomatoes.com handle inappropriate content?
Before an uploaded video can make it onto the site, it must receive approval from the NatureSweet® Cherubs® team. As proprietors and chief programmers of the site, we reserve the right to approve and reject videos for any reasons. Generally speaking, we're open arms to anything positive, entertaining and kid-friendly. We'll likely reject anything with unofficial advertising, copyright infringement, offensive material or displays of illegal activity. This is a site for kids.

How do I report inappropriate videos?
If you see a video that you think is inappropriate, you can report it to us by clicking on the Report This Video box on the video that is playing. Or, you can contact us at help@cherubstomatoes.com. Either way, an internal NatureSweet® Cherubs® team member will review the video in question and deem whether the video flagged is inappropriate. If it is deemed inappropriate we will remove the video from the site.

Why was my video rejected or taken down?
Your video was taken down, after a review by the NatureSweet® Cherubs® team, because of either inappropriate content or copyright violation, as defined by our Official Rules.

9. COPYRIGHT

I recorded my video at a sporting event, concert or from television or a DVD.
Recording a television show, sporting event, concert, or clips from a purchased DVD onto your computer doesn't necessarily mean that you own all necessary rights in that video to upload it to cherubstomatoes.com. Even if you never claimed to own the copyright or gave the copyright owner credit, posting these videos on cherubstomatoes.com may violate copyright law and may be grounds for your video to be removed.

What are you doing to prevent unauthorized copyrighted content from appearing on cherubstomatoes.com?
We make it clear in our Official Rules and at the time of upload that users must own the copyright to the videos they post or have permission from the copyright holder. We encourage copyright holders to report any specific infringing videos via the DMCA takedown process. User accounts of repeat infringers are automatically terminated.

What if I believe I have been falsely accused of copyright infringement?
If you feel a content owner has misidentified your content as infringing, you may file a DMCA counter-notification.

What is your policy on copyright infringement?
cherubstomatoes.com respects the rights of copyright holders and publishers and requires all users to confirm they own the copyright or have permission from the copyright holder to upload content. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and promptly remove content when properly notified. Repeat infringers' videos are removed and their accounts are terminated and permanently blocked from using cherubstomatoes.com.

Why was my video removed for copyright while similar videos were not?
When we are notified or otherwise become aware that a particular video uploaded to our site infringes another's copyright, we respond promptly, as the law requires. If there remain videos on the site that appear similar to the one(s) we've removed, we are likely either not aware of them or do not have reason to believe they are infringing. Sometimes a copyright owner authorizes some, but not all, of its works to appear on our site. Other times, very similar videos are owned by different copyright owners, and one may grant permission while another does not.

How do I report copyright infringement?
Please visit our Copyright Notices link on the footer of each page of this promotional site for all copyright issues, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

If you think a video may reveal too much about you or someone else and if you think that you or the other person would not want millions of kids to be watching this video, then we highly recommend not posting the video.

Something else to consider before uploading a video is whether the video could help a stranger figure out who you are and where you live. You should never share personal information like telephone numbers and home addresses. Make sure license plate numbers on cars cannot be clearly seen. There are features in video editing software which allow the user to blur out things.

We know that self-expression can be extremely exhilarating, and wish to foster an environment for it and promote it as much as possible. However, we also want our users—our NatureSweet® Cherubs® stars and celebrities—to be safe.
